On the cover of his eponymous 1993 debut, Toby Keith doesn't quite look like the big, swaggering dog that became a superstar roughly seven years later - he's too thin, his shirt too crisp, his mullet too drastic, his smile too eager - but image isn't everything. Underneath that cover, it sure is possible to hear the roots of modern Toby Keith on this appealing debut
Circumstances were inauspicious when pianist Keith Jarrett and ECM Records owner-producer Manfred Eicher rolled into Cologne, Germany, in January of 1975. Jarrett hadn't slept the night before and was in pain. Side B of the first Stooges live album is, purportedly, one of the gnarliest rock shows ever recorded. For weeks before the February 1974 gig, Stooges frontman Iggy Pop had gleefully engaged in public beef with a motorcycle gang called the Scorpions. They showed up in droves, along with all kinds of objects with which to pelt the band - fruits and vegetables, bottles, yard tools. There are tons of Zep bootlegs floating around, but none of them sound this crisp and alive, even though they occasionally cheated and combined multiple versions of a song into one. Highlights include a ferocious "Immigrant Song," a 25-minute "Dazed and Confused" and a 23-minute "Whole Lotta Love" jam.
Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll)" is a song by English musician George Harrison, released on his 1970 triple album All Things Must Pass. Harrison wrote the song as a tribute to Frank Crisp, a nineteenth-century lawyer and the original owner of Friar Park – the Victorian Gothic residence in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, that Harrison purchased in early 1970.

When you say it's gonna happen "now" well, when exactly do you mean? see I've already waited too long and all my hope is gone. You shut your mouth how can you say I go about things the wrong way I am human and I need to be loved just like everybody else does. How Soon Is Now?" lyrics provided for educational purposes and personal use only.
Now is a pure expression of Twain’s intent: she wrote and produced every song on the album, curated its additional four producers, and laid down strict guidelines regarding their involvement and the album’s sound. I told anyone getting involved musically to forget about my other records, she told Rolling Stone in February. Twain is adamant that Now isn’t a divorce album. Her marriage to Lange ended nearly a decade ago, and she’s long since moved on and found happiness with her ex-best friend’s own jilted lover. This isn’t her version of Lemonade. She’s never been able to summon that kind of righteous fury. Yet the specter of her life’s temporary collapse hangs over the album like a shadow. She sounds a world away from the sassy, effervescent icon of That Don’t Impress Me Much on songs like I’m Alright and Where Do You Think You’re Going, piercing and desperate even as they end on hopeful notes.
